How a commission works
You share your photos
After you commission your piece, we send you a guide to the reference photos we need: what to send, how to shoot, what works best. Nothing begins until your photos are right.
We model your piece
Our designer builds a full three-dimensional model from your photos, working the form, texture, and color by hand until it carries their likeness.
You approve before we print
You receive an interactive preview you can turn and study from every angle. We refine it with you until it is right. Nothing is printed until you approve it.
We print and deliver
Your approved model is printed in full color, checked by hand, and packed for you. From commission to doorstep is about two weeks.

Featured product
Printed in full color in a single piece with its base, with the color worked into the material itself.
Size is the figure's height at its tallest point, not counting the base. Each size is worked to the same fineness, so a larger piece, with more surface, shows more of them.
You approve a preview before anything is printed. Free worldwide shipping, duties included.
After you commission, we are in touch within 24 hours to begin, starting with the photos we need.
A moment, kept
You know them by the small things: the way they greet you, the spot that became theirs, a face you could pick out of any crowd.
moment kept began with a simple wish, to take one of those moments and keep it. So much of what we hold onto now lives on a screen, scrolled past and gone. We wanted something you could hold instead, that lasts the way a photo on a phone does not, and stays even after they no longer can. Not a copy of your companion, but a moment of them, held still: the posture, the markings, the look that is theirs alone.
Frequently asked questions
How does a commission work?
You place your order, then reply to our confirmation email with photos of your companion. We are in touch within 24 hours to begin. Our designer models the piece by hand, sends you an interactive preview you can turn and study from every angle, and refines it with you until it is right. Only once you approve it do we print it in full color and ship.
What photos do you need from me?
A few clear shots from different angles: front, both sides, the back, and the face. Natural daylight works best, with the camera roughly at their eye level. Send anything that makes them theirs, like distinctive markings or the way they sit. The more you send, the closer the likeness, and we will tell you if we need more before we begin.
Can you work from older photos, or from a companion who has passed?
Yes. We treat these with particular care, and can work from a small set of photos, including older or imperfect ones. Send what you have, and we will tell you honestly what we can capture before you go any further.
Do you only make dogs and cats?
Those are the most common, but we can model most companions from clear photos. If you are not sure yours will work, send your photos through Contact and we will tell you before you order.
Can you make more than one companion in one piece?
Yes. Two or more can share a single piece and base. Because that needs more room to capture each of them well, reach out through Contact before ordering and we will recommend the right size and price.
Can I customize the pose, or include things that are theirs?
Yes, and this is where a piece becomes truly theirs. We can model any pose, and include the base, objects, or favorite toys that belong to them, whatever captures who they are. Tell us what you have in mind when you send your photos, and we will build it in.
Will it really look like them?
That is the heart of it. We model from your photos and focus on what makes them recognizable: posture, face, ears, markings, and coloring. Because the model is built by hand from your photos rather than scanned, it is an interpretation, not a literal copy. We refine it with you until it carries their likeness, so you settle the result before we ever print.
What is it made of?
Each piece is printed from a solid full-color resin, in one piece with its base. The color is built into the material itself rather than painted on, so it will not chip or peel the way paint can, and the detail and color are part of the piece for good.
How do the sizes differ, and which should I choose?
Larger pieces hold more detail, because the scale leaves room for it, while smaller ones stay clean and uncluttered. Choose 4 inches for a quiet keepsake on a desk or shelf, 6 inches for more presence and visible detail, and 8 inches for the fullest version, modeled in the most detail and made to be kept and passed on.
Do you ship internationally, and how much is it?
Yes, we ship worldwide, and shipping is free, with nothing more to pay on arrival, since any duties and taxes are already included. From order to your door is about two weeks, give or take by destination. Every piece is packed by hand and on its way with a tracking number as soon as it ships.
I have a deadline. Can you make it faster?
We may be able to save a day or two, but each piece is modeled by hand and cannot be rushed much further without cutting corners we would rather not. If you are working toward a date, order with room to spare and let us know, and we will plan around it.
What if it is lost, or never arrives?
Every order ships tracked and insured. If a piece goes missing in transit, or tracking shows it delivered but it has not reached you, tell us and we will sort it out with the carrier and put it right.
What if I want a refund?
You approve a preview before anything is printed, so you never pay for something you have not already seen and signed off on. Refunds follow the stage you are at. Before we begin modeling, you can cancel for a full refund. Once we are modeling, we refine the piece with you over up to three rounds of changes; if it still is not right after that, you can walk away with a 60 percent refund, and we keep 40 percent to cover the modeling already made for you. Once you approve the model and we print it, the order is final.
What if something is wrong with the finished piece?
If it arrives damaged, or does not match the model you approved, send us a few photos within 7 days and we will remake it. You signed off on the model before we printed, so the finished piece should match it. If it does not, that is ours to put right.
Can I order it as a gift?
Yes. Because the piece is built from photos, a surprise means gathering them yourself. We can ship directly to the recipient, and time the dispatch to aim for a date you give us. Because delivery times can vary, treat that date as a target rather than a guarantee, and give us a little room when it matters.
